Increasing community visibility through the art of storytelling.

  • About Stories & (__)

Our mission is to support communities whose stories often go unheard by creating opportunities for people to craft and tell their stories.

We design interactive storytelling events to transport stories from private to public spaces, celebrate diverse communities and cultures, and spread the belief that everyone has a story worth sharing.

Why is story sharing important? Stories bridge gaps, teach lessons, inspire action, illustrate commonalities, preserve history, impart wisdom, restore spirits, activate the imagination, and infuse hope.

Our commitment to storytelling is built upon the following principles:

    • Everyone has a story worth sharing.
    • Sharing diverse stories is a way to disrupt the status quo.
    • Every story/teller is treated with care, compassion, and respect.

We believe storytelling can help create a more creative, connected, and just world.

Transporting stories from private to public spaces.

    Pedal to Porch

Stories & Biking - Porch Stories

Pedal to Porch is a neighborhood bike ride that includes stops along a route where residents use their front porch as a stage to tell their story. We use the power of storytelling to lower the barrier of connection between neighbors, initiate new conversations, and celebrate neighborhood history.

    Dinner for 30

Stories & Cooking - Kitchen Stories

Dinner for 30 encourages people to cross cultures divides through live storytelling and cooking. A cook is invited to prepare a food dish that is connected to a fond memory, tell a story about it, and the audience will be welcomed to taste the dish.

    Storytelling Workshop

Stories & Learning - Unknown Stories

We've taken everything we learned about storytelling and designed a 90-minute workshop. If you are an entrepreneur, an artist, or a college student, this workshop will provide you with tools and techniques to craft your story. To learn more, download the workshop description.
